According to the latest France Football magazine rich list,  Lionel Messi is the world's best paid footballer and José Mourinho is the highest earning coach.. 

The Barcelona player earned a staggering $72million in 2014. He
made about $38million as his club salary and the rest were from lucrative endorsements with the likes of adidas, FIFA 15 and Turkish Airlines and that makes him richer than the current world best footballer Cristiano Ronaldo...

José Mourinho who stop coaching Real Madrid and take Chelsea deal also became the world richest football coach...
