During his set, Weezy made what might be one of the most significant announcements this year. He casually sipped some water before telling the enormous crowd, "I just signed a deal with my motherf***ing idol Jay Z." For a second, the stunned audience remained silent before literally erupting. Minutes later, Twitter got flooded with tweets which spread the news.
It is important to note that Wayne recently became a co-owner of the Hov-helmed TIDAL. There is a slight chance that he might have made a reference to this particular deal and not becoming a Roc Nation signee.
