Ten days after the project dropped, the Jay Z-helmed streaming service issued a tweet in which was revealed FWA was streamed over 10 million times in its first week on TIDAL. But should we be impressed with the achievement? Well, if we compare it to Kendrick Lamar's Spotify record – To Pimp a Butterfly got streamed 9.4 million times in its first 24 hours and 9.8 million times in its second 24 hours – Weezy's feat is nothing to brag about. But then again, Spotify has was more subscribers than TIDAL and has a free plan.
