Taylor Swift top mid 2015 best selling album, and drake became the runner up....
Nielsen released its mid-year music report yesterday, July 2, 2015, analyzing the biggest albums thus far in 2015 – one of pure sales, and another that includes streaming – and there are slight differences.
The best-selling album on both lists is Taylor Swift's 1989, which is everything but surprising. Spot number two is reserved for Drake and his mixtape-turned-album If You're Reading This It's Too Late. He dropped the project out of nowhere without any promo or any videos.
