Read excerpts from her interview below
On escapism: I believe everyone needs some form of escapism to handle a lot of the pressures life tends to bring our way. Some things I do as part of my own escapism traveling, going to the movies, enjoying the spa and meditating.
On Nollywood evolving: It most certainly has evolved and it will continue to do so. When one observes the acting and types of cameras used to the quality in editing and the movie theatre releases Nollywood at 20 years old is most certainly evolving and growing. I'm definitely excited to be a part of it. It's an exciting time for the film industry not just in Nigeria but in Africa as a whole.
On her confidence: In terms of confidence it wasn't an over-night thing for me. I had low self-esteem when I was younger. My parents put me through modeling and pageants to help me boost my confidence. I do feel a sense of pride when others are inspired by me because it was a long journey. Believing in oneself and knowing you are beautiful and amazing just the way you are will in itself exude confidence from within and outward.
