According to Uk Mirror,Ms Perry gave Zymeir a kiss moments before she pushed him over the railings and then jumped from the 52-foot bridge into the Lehigh River herself.
A police officer found the little boy 700 yards away, floating downstream, and performed mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.
Ms Perry suffered serious injuries in the fall but managed to get to the shore.
