The hip-hop mogul,50 Cent just lost the naughty tape lawsuit to Rick Ross' baby mother Lestonia Leviston. Even though Curtis previously claimed he never leaked the 2009 footage – starring Leviston and her former boyfriend, Maurice Murray – yet had obtained the video from Rozay and merely reposted what was already in existence, the jurors supported the mother of two and he will now have to pay her $5 million.
According to New York Daily News, the jury of four women and two men awarded Leviston $2.5 million in damages for using her image without her permission and another $2.5 million for intentional infliction of emotional distress. Her lawyer, Philip Freidin, also urged them to serve the rapper with a $20 million judgment for humiliating his client.
50 Cent never appeared at the trial to testify and wasn't in court to hear the verdict. Next week, the jury will decide on punitive damages and the $5 million could multiply.
