In an interview with Power 105.1's Angie Martinez, Meek Mill said he's not huge fans of either Kendrick Lamar or J. Cole and only listens to a handful of artists.
"[To] keep it real, I don't even listen to nobody," he said. "I listen to Future, Dej Loaf, Young Thug, of course OG's like Jay Z."
As far as Cole and Lamar, Meek says he respects their level of talent, but feels they both make music for a specific type of person, not him.
"They're dope lyricists, great rappers … But they don't inspire me," he admitted. "They don't seem like they're talking to me and that ain't no hate."
