Yesterday, several luxury cars got shot at in front of an Atlanta recording studio that holds an office related to Rick Ross. The incident occurred around 4 AM outside Twelve Music Group and UDigg Studios. Among the damaged vehicles are a Corvette, an Infiniti G35 and a Mercedes CL63. The Benz alone retails for over $150,000. Luckily, no one got injured.
As you know, this is the third time within a month, Rick Ross' name has been linked to an incident involving the police. After he got arrested for marijuana possession and was quickly released in early June, the rapper returned to jail soon for charges of assault, kidnapping, and aggravated battery, and spent there a whole week before he got freed on $2 million bond.
Though as far as Ross is concerned, there is no indication he was involved in the shooting in any way. The studio in question is the same studio he opened to create the "Artists First" platform and help develop new acts after partnering with the owner of Twelve Studios in February.
In a statement to the The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, a rep for Twelve Studios called the incident "isolated and random."
"This isolated and random incident is not affiliated with Twelve Studios, any of our staff members or clients; including Rick Ross. This is the first time in over three years that we have been affected by any criminal activity regarding our property."
