Two girls were hurt at the Billboard Hot 100 festival at Jones Beach Sunday afternoon after rap star Fetty Wap leapt from the roughly 5-foot-tall stage into a crowd of fans during the last song of his 30-minute performance...
According to Newsday, when Wap leaped into the audience, the legs of both girls got trapped under the steel fence that protects the artists. Fans were sent into a frenzy and pushed towards the New Jersey native to get a photo of him. He was eventually pulled out of the crowd by security.
When the organizers found out about the injured fans, they alerted the medics, who wrapped the leg of one of the girls, and iced the leg of the other behind the stage. They also called the parents of the injured.
Minutes later, Fetty returned to the stage to apologize to the concertgoers and recite the lyrics to his last song once again....
